GENERAL QUESTION
Everyone’s learning path is different, and can depend on many factors. Bachata’s basic rhythm and basic steps are not complicated but as you continue on your dance journey there will be moves, concepts and rhythms that are more difficult as you continue down your dance journey.
Dance is something that you can continue to work on and learn throughout your entire life. Everyone’s learning path is different and can depend on many factors. Our basic bachata class lasts a month and gives you all the basics to be able to start dancing socially, however practice both on your own and on the social dance floor plays a key role in how quickly you progress as a dancer.
This is a personal preference depending on your own dance goals. Some people prefer to learn the basics in one before learning the basics in the other, other students prefer to learn salsa and bachata simutaneously. We can always set up an assessment/private lesson with one of our instructors to help figure out the best path for you.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. We also ask that you bring a pair of dry indoor shoes to dance in so as to protect the dance floor.

You do not need a dance partner for any of our classes. In our partnerwork classes we rotate partners throughout the entire hour so everyone gets an opportunity to dance with everyone. However if you do come with a partner you are not required to rotate if you are not comfortable doing so.
We accept both cash and card payments. However we strongly suggest that everyone pre-register online.
